Fix for over sensitive gear warning system 

(Horn sounds continually during low power descent)



Installation



1. Copy the lines below to your windows clipboard. (Ctrl-C)



2. Open the aircraft.cfg file ( double click)



3. Scroll down to the [gear_warning_system] section.



4. Paste in the clipboard contents (Ctrl-V) Overwrite or delete existing lines.

pct_throttle_limit=0.1

flap_limit_power=30.00

flap_limit_idle=20.00



In this configuration the gear horn will sound in the following circumstances:



1. The gear is up, the throttles are set to idle, and more than 20º flap deployed.



2. The gear is up and more than 30º flap deployed, regardless of power setting.
