The Aurigny Trislanders that serve the Channel Islands are
nicknamed "Joeys" by the islanders. Aurigny painted one Trislander in this special livery and registered it G-JOEY. Joey is now the
pin-up and mascot of Aurigny Air Services and is also the hero of many children's books.

BAE 146-200 (RJ85)

The 146-200 first flew in August 1982 and entered service six months later. The RJ85, the first RJ development of the BAe 146 family, features an improved cabin and the more efficient LF 507 engines.
The last of the  British Airways RJ85 fleet was retired in 2010 and
replaced by Embraer 170's and 190's.

BMI disposed of their Fokker 100's in 2004 and now operate an all Airbus fleet.

Air Florida was based out of Miami International Airport. It was formed in 1971 and started operations in 1972. Air Florida operated several DC-10's in their fleet.

Zimex Aviation was founded in 1969, and is based at Zurich Airport, Switzerland, where it leases its aircraft worldwide to oil and mining companies and also to humanitarian organisations.

In 1994 this aircraft was attacked at Aden Airport, when war broke out between North and South Yemen. The aircraft was damaged beyond repair by shell fire.

Zimex Aviation also operate Twin Otters, Beech B1900D's and Lockheed C130's

An excellent "what if" livery from Stephanie.

The U. S. Air Force intended to use a Garrett engined version of the
Jetstream for passengers, light cargo and casualty evacuation under the designation 'C10'. An order was placed for 11 aircraft but there were
delays in production and the order was cancelled before any aircraft were delivered.

SHORTS S360

N601CA of ALLEGHENY COMMUTER (Pennsylvania Airlines)

In the 1980's and 1990's the Shorts S330 and S360 were popular with commuter airlines because of their spacious "stand up" passenger cabins and relatively low noise.
Pennsylvania Airlines operated this S360 under the Allegheny Commuter banner in the late 1980's
Production of the S360 ceased in 1991 but many S360's remain in service in the 21st century, mainly as freighters.

During 2001-2004  this aircraft served with Air Midwest under the US Air Express franchise.  Air Midwest was then part of the Mesa Air Group. Air Midwest ceased operations in June 2008 and at that time they were
operating eleven B1900D's.
At the present time (2011) N231YV is flying with Great Lakes Airlines.

Virgin Australia Airlines, formerly Virgin Blue Airlines, is Australia's second-largest airline as well as the largest by fleet size to utilise the Virgin brand.  It was established in 2000 with two aircraft operating on a single route, and suddenly found itself catapulted to the position of Australia's second airline after the collapse of Ansett Australia in September 2001. The airline has grown to directly serve 29 cities in Australia from hubs in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, using a fleet of narrow-body Boeing and Embraer jets and Airbus wide body jets.
