On Feb 4th, 2000 Socata launched an enhanced version of the TB product line termed the TB GT (Generation Two). Socata offers GT versions of the complete "Caribbean" range (Trinidad, Tobago, Tampico).The major difference between the GT and existing TB models is the addition of a new carbon-fiber based cockpit roof which has enabled Socata to significantly increase the size of the passenger compartment while retaining the same frontal and "wetted area" and hence cruise speed.
