About Me

Hello, My name is Barry Blaisdell.  I have been involved in some sort of aviation endeavor since I was a teenager. Wether it was in the Civil Air Patrol during the late 1950's or delivering ordinance over the Kep Rail Yards in Hanoi as a "Thud Driver" in the mid-1960's (I also have some hours in the F-100C Super Sabre) or flying a Hughes 300 Helicopter in the 1970's. I also spent some time in US ARMY Aviation & went Airborne as well….
And the list goes on and on.

In 1989 I suffered a Heart Attack and that ended my life of flying.

Now at age 64 and living in Stratford, Connecticut, USA
just 3 nautical miles DME from BDR VOR and KBDR.

I am married 40 years to my wife Carol and have a  29 year old son, Todd.

I  now design Aircraft and Panels & Sound for Microsoft's Flight Simulator 2004 in my spare time ever since BAO's Flight Shop (AF5) was released in 1995. And now dabbling with Gmax and FSDS. With these new tools the FS Planes are even more realistic than ever before.

I hope you enjoy my Web Site.
